About the Festival
How long is a piece of string? What makes the world turn? And why does chocolate taste so good? Nothing is off limits at Cheltenham Science Festival. Every year we are joined by the world’s greatest scientists, futurologists and thought-leaders to help make sense of the world around us.
We creatively curated a programme that sparked curiosity! Alongside our ticketed activity last year we also welcomed VOICEBOX to join the Festival with a free digital content series as well as hosting lots of free family activities on site.
Keep your eyes peeled for the 2024 programme.
Science for Schools
The Science for Schools programme at Cheltenham Science Festival encourages children and young people to explore and question the world around them through spectacular science shows, hands-on workshops and interactive zones.
Professor Brian Cox
"I’m an avid fan of Cheltenham Science Festival. It is, without doubt, the premier science Festival in the country because it is supported by pretty much everyone who cares about promoting science in Britain."
