- We produce 36 days of Festivals plus at least 180 days of year-round activity
- The four Festivals now feature nearly 1,000 events
- In addition to our interactive zones and Learning and Participation programee, 25% of our programme is free
- We sell over 215,000 tickets annually
- We rely on sponsorship, grants and charitable giving to secure our international profile and position at Cheltenham's cultural core
- Every year we invite more than 2,5000 of the world's finest musicians, writers, scientists and perfomers and thinkers to join with us to entertain and inspire Festival audiences of all ages
- We work with over 25,000 school children from 250 schools in a given year

Senior Management Team
Ian George – Co-CEO
With 16 years’ experience in the event industry Ian has worked in events both in the public, private and charity sector including running press offices, marketing departments and promoting and running festivals.
Ali Mawle – Co-CEO
Ali brings 18 years of arts/education experience to the Festivals. After 10 years working in inner-city London as a teacher, literacy consultant, deputy head teacher and ITT lecturer, she moved to the National Gallery to lead the National Schools Programme.
Helena Bibby – Director of People
Helena joined Cheltenham Festivals in February 2006 on a part-time basis to provide administrative support during the early stages of Cheltenham Festivals’ independence from Cheltenham Borough Council.
Suzanne Ross - Director of Finance
Suzanne joined Cheltenham Festivals in 2012 as Director of Fundraising for Cheltenham Literature Festival and has held a variety of roles across departments since, stepping into the role of Director of Finance in October 2021.
